hello,

i am using termite in my arch and what ever ships by default in mint.

To be honest i don't remember why i finally picked up termite. I remember tho when i build my arch i googled for different terminal i read characteristics and i ended up installing termite.

You really cant go wrong with st. I fell in love with it after switching from Pop-Os to arch and finally ditching the gnome-terminal

Watched the youtube video about alacritty. Was disapointed to see that my favorite terminal emulator received no votes. So I logged in just to place my vote for alacritty.
I plan on being more active in these forums in the future.
