Re: IT is only Profession where you need to know how to read.

Being able to read and extract useful information is incredibly important.
Knowing how to write instructions for other people is also incredibly important.
It goes both ways.

Re: Nvidia vs AMD graphics cards.

Just gonna put my five cents here.
You can't have vulkan and wayland at the same time with nvidia. Proprietary driver doesn't do wayland. Open-source driver doesn't do vulkan.
Amd can do both.

Re: i3

Yeah the script I linked to is meant to setup neomutt easily. I agree that it definitely can be a pain to get it running manually on your own.
Thunderbird is nice but I didn't mention it because op suggested he wanted to move away from firefox. Thunderbird always felt very similar to firefix to me.

LRBY streaming to mpv?

I can play youtube videos and twitch streams by giving the url to mpv. Haven't tried LRBY yet myself. Asking here first. Maybe people have suggestions I didn't think about.

Re: Profile Image Upload Size

I wasn't trying to argue in the first place...
All I wanted to do was post a helpful link man lol
Doesn't matter to me if it's a third party service or not. It's just not a big deal to me.

Re: Profile Image Upload Size

I never said it was a service. Just that it's third party.
And I was really just trying to help anyway in the first place. I don't care if people use it or not.
If you don't like third party services, then don't use it I guess.

Yeah I have a screenshot script that uses that url. Just wasn't sure how long it would be around.

Re: Profile Image Upload Size

I don't know how to use gimp.
Gimp *is* third party. Most software people use on Linux is third party.
